American Recovery Association Chosen as Sole Repossession Organization for Indiana Members Credit Union DALLAS, Texas – December 14, 2006 – The American Recovery Association, Inc. (ARA), the world’s largest organization of professional finance adjusters and certified recovery specialists, today announced they have been selected by the Indiana Members Credit Union as their exclusive provider of collateral recovery services.
With this selection, ARA is providing the Indiana Members Credit Union with their licensed recovery management software, powered by Recovery Database Network (RDN), a secure Web-based recovery management software application. The application serves as a facilitator of business-to-business electronic commerce between lending institutions and repossession related service providers. The credit union will also have access to ARA’s online directory made up of approximately 280 members with over 450 offices nationwide.
“We have worked with the American Recovery Association many times in the past through a local agency. It is a natural move for us to use them exclusively for our recovery needs,” said Joan Wolfe, Collections Department Manager for Indiana Members Credit Union. “We have always experienced a high level of professionalism and quality service while working with the association.”
RDN will provide the union’s collection agents with the ability to select a recovery specialist of their choice and communicate with them through ARA’s licensed software and Web site. This allows for real-time communication between collection agents and ARA members. Assignments can be added and updated immediately through online access and voice recognition over the telephone.
This capability enables ARA members to receive data offsite, while the collection agents are able to view collateral recovery information, condition reports, photographs and invoices.
“We take pride in the fact that Indiana Members Credit Union will experience the same caliber of service in another state as they have come to expect in Indiana,” said Art Blanchette, President of General Adjusting Service, INC and 15 year ARA board member.
The Indiana Members Credit Union has 22 branches in Indiana and 1 branch in Colorado. ARA is providing its membership directory and software at no cost to the Indiana Members Credit Union.
