Alabama Telco Credit Union Choses American Recovery Association as Sole Repossession Organization

 

AUSTIN, Texas - November 29, 2005 - The American Recovery Association. Inc. (ARA), the world's largest organization of professional finance adjusters and certified recovery specialists today announced they have been selected by the Alabama Telco Credit Union as their exclusive provider of collateral recovery services.

With this selection, ARA is providing the Alabama Telco nion with their licensed Recovery Database Network (RDN), a secure Web-based recovery management software application. The application serves as a facilitator of business-to-business elctronic commerce between lending institutions and repossession related service providers. The credit union will also have access to ARA's online directory made up of approximately 280 members.

"We are grateful to not only have an organization of highly skilled and certified recovery specialists to use when we have to initiate a collateral repossession, but an organization that offers the latest in technology to make the process easier and more efficient," said Donna Gentry, collections manager of Alabama Telco Credit Union. "I have worked with the American Recovery Association for years and they continue to provide the highest caliber of service of any repossession organization."

RDN will provice the union's collection agents with the ability to select the ARA recovery specialist of their choice and communicate with them through ARA's new Multiview CD-ROM product and Web site. This allows for the real-time communication between collection agents and ARA members. Assignments can be added and updated immediately through online access and voice recognition over the telephone.

This capability enables ARA members to receive data offsite, while the collection agents are able to view collateral recovery information, condition reports, photographs and invoices.

The Alabama Telco Credit Union has 16 branches and 64 credit union service centers. ARA is providing RDN, Multiview CD-ROM and its membership directory at no cost to the Alabama Telco Credit Union.
