American Recovery Association Relocates to Dallas DALLAS, Texas - May 15, 2006 - The American Recovery Association, Inc. (ARA), the world's largest organization of professional finance adjusters and certified recovery specialists, today announced the relocation of its headquarters to the greater Dallas area after more that 25 years at their former location in New Orleans.
The move to Dallas is a natural one, as many of ARA's clients and vendors are located in the area. The Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex is a central location and a major hub, providing convenience for ARA board and general membership. ARA is expanding its headquarters to the 1900 sq. foot space at MacArthur Plaza in Irving, Texas.
The transition to Dallas comes in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Following the tragic event, ARA headquarters experienced logistical problems with communications between clients and members. The move to Dallas will eliminate communication issues and streamline ARA operations.
"Our clients and members have come to expect high standards of service and professionalism from ARA," said Les McCook, president of ARA. "After having our headquarters in New Orleans for so many years, this move carries many strong emotions. We will always have a special place in our heart for New Orleans and would love nothing more that to see it return to the great city it has always been."
ARA has plans to hold conventions in New Orleans in the future. |
